About

Port Sunlight Tours

Join a guided tour to discover the unique story of Port Sunlight, founded in 1888 by William Lever to house the workers at his soap factory and today one of the finest surviving industrial worker villages in the world.

Admire the 900 Grade II listed beautiful houses and buildings which reflect nearly every period of British architecture. Explore the stunning parkland and gardens around the village, including the picturesque Dell and renowned rose garden along the Diamond. See the factory where it all started, the historic home of Unilever who still occupy the site. If you have time, make sure to visit Lady Lever Art Gallery and Port Sunlight Museum or grab a bite to eat at Nettle Café or Cobble & Hay.

Groups can enjoy a walking tour on foot with our expert guides lasting around 1.5 hours, or a guide can join you on your coach lasting around 1 hour.
